The Muslim Association of Hawaii (MAH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the home of Masjid Al-Rahman — the oldest and largest mosque in the State of Hawaii. Located in the heart of Honolulu, we have been serving Hawaii's diverse Muslim community for decades.

Our masjid welcomes Muslims from all backgrounds and nationalities, as well as visitors and community members who wish to learn about Islam. We are committed to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and spiritually enriching community in the spirit of Islamic brotherhood and sisterhood.

What We Offer

Daily Prayers

The masjid is open for all five daily prayers — Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha — every day of the year.

Quran & Education

Quran recitation classes, Islamic studies, and educational programs for adults, youth, and children.

Youth Programs

Engaging programs for Muslim youth to learn about their faith, build community, and develop leadership skills.

Community Outreach

Food drives, charity programs, and interfaith dialogue to serve and connect with the broader Hawaii community.

Islamic Ceremonies

Nikah (Islamic marriage), funeral prayers (Janazah), and other Islamic ceremonies conducted at the masjid.

A Diverse, Welcoming Family

The Muslim Association of Hawaii is home to a beautifully diverse community of Muslims from across the world — representing dozens of nationalities, ethnicities, and backgrounds, all united by faith. Our community includes long-time Hawaii residents, military families, university students, and visitors from around the globe.

We warmly welcome non-Muslim visitors who wish to learn about Islam. Guided tours of the masjid are available upon request, and our community members are always happy to answer questions and share their faith.
